Shrinkora

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: September 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Shrinkora handles when you use our website and its browser-based image tools, why we handle it, and the choices you have. Shrinkora works without accounts and without sending your images anywhere.

1. Summary

We do not ask for an account, a name or an email address, and we never upload the images you resize, crop or compress. The only data involved is limited website usage measurement, standard hosting request logs, and the preferences your own browser stores on your device.

2. Your images and files

Resizing, cropping, rotating and compression run locally in your browser using standard web technologies such as the Canvas API, Web Workers and WebAssembly. Your images are not uploaded to our servers, are not stored by us, and are never used for training, profiling or advertising. When you close or reload the page, the files and previews held in memory are discarded.

3. Settings stored on your device

We store a few preferences in your browser's local storage: your interface language, your theme choice (light, dark or system) and your last used compression mode. These values never leave your device, are not linked to any identity, and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people use the site, which tools are opened and which language versions are needed. The events we send contain page paths and interface and browser language codes; Google additionally collects standard technical data such as device type, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and cookie-based identifiers. No image, filename or image content is ever sent to analytics. Google processes this data as our analytics provider under its own terms, and you can prevent the collection with browser settings, tracking protection or Google's opt-out add-on.

5. Hosting and security logs

Our hosting and content-delivery provider serves the pages and static files and, like any web server, processes standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer and timestamp — to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose faults. If a page fails, the error report sent to our hosting platform contains the technical error and the page address only.

6. Advertising

The layout reserves space for advertising, but no advertising network is loaded at present and we set no advertising cookies. If we introduce advertising later, we will update this policy before it goes live and name the provider and its data practices.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use no cookies for advertising or profiling. Analytics may set cookies or use comparable identifiers as described above, and your preferences use local storage rather than cookies. Blocking cookies does not affect the image tools, which keep working in full.

8. Third-party services

Besides analytics and hosting, our pages carry a Google Search Console verification tag, which collects nothing on its own. We do not sell, rent or share personal data, and we operate no service that receives your images.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Because we hold no accounts and no image data, such requests normally concern analytics and hosting records; contact us with the details below and we will help.

10. Children

The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Service, to our providers or to applicable law. When we do, we will revise the date shown above and highlight significant changes on this page.

12. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, contact us at support@shrinkora.app. Our Terms of Use describe the rules that govern use of the Service.

This policy describes how the Service works today and is provided for general information; it is not legal advice.
